They are the women that are usually not talked about. Yes, they have read  (Insert "revolutionary" book here).  And yes, they can tell you about all the "Conscious" rappers that folks claim to love but have never bought their albums. But they also know about some housewife or another that isn't really a housewife and they will cut you if you take off the music that makes their heads nod.  They choose to educate themselves in the ways of both the office and  the neighborhood in order to remain grounded. The uninformed call them hood because they can easily spot a hustle from both the "refined" and the "revolutionary" and will  let it be known.   They are the girlfriends that will ride or die with you in any arena without embarrassment. That, my friends, is an Educated Hood Chick.
